Jean’s Own Health Muffins

DRY INGREDIENTS:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup bran
1/3 cup cracked wheat
1/4 cup dry buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

WET INGREDIENTS:
1 cup water
1 egg
1/4 cup honey or molasses
3 Tablespoons butter or oil
Raisins or nuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Mix wet ingredients together, then add to dry ingredients.
3. Toss in a handful of raisins or nuts if desired.
4. Pour into greased muffin tin.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-15 minutes or until it springs back when touched.
