Jean’s Homemade Pizza Crust

INGREDIENTS:
1 package yeast
1 cup water
1 capful oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
4 1/2 teaspoons sugar
2 cups flour

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix first four ingredients, let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Add next three ingredients; salt, sugar and flour.
3. Let dough raise for 1/2 hour.
4. Grease pizza pan with shortening, press and shape dough out onto pan.
5. Bake at 500 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

SERVING SUGGESTION:
Top with thin layer of buttery garlic sauce, white sauce or red pizza sauce. Add cheese and toppings. Warm again just long enough for cheese to melt on top.
